One of the most complicated woodworking tools ever produced. It's a wonder that it ever made it into production. As it is, only a handful are known to exist. The plane is actually the invention of four men from Dundee, N.Y. They were M.J. WHEELER, G.W. ROGERS, H.W. PIERCE and M.B. TIDEY. The plane cuts both bevels at once as it is two planes set at opposing angles, which are adjustable. The brass arch is clearly marked by the maker along with the patent date. The plane is in NEAR MINT condition. It is flawless and has never been tampered with. In fact, it's the BEST one EVER! Beech with boxwood arms, nuts, and washers. The soles and the trim are brass. Amazing!
