A rare and early saw, circa 1865, with a beautiful and nearly flawless applewood handle and conical nuts. 13 point, 14 inch, crosscut blade is sharp, straight, clean, and bright. No real pitting. The brass back has a nice patina and several hammer marks across the top, apparently an effort to tension the blade.
